Total revenue for Lend Lease Corporation exceeded A$300 million for the year.
Prime Property Fund enters into joint venture to build Levis Plaza in San Francisco, one of Equitable’s first developmental joint ventures.

Lend Lease Head Office moves to Caltex House, Sydney’s first skyscraper.
MLC encouraged the formation of the new company and provided funding for Lend Lease’s first project, North Shore Medical Centre.
Lend Lease Corporation forms with Civil & Civic as largest Shareholder.

1951
Civil & Civic contractors forms. The company’s capital was AŁ10,000 and its first contract was to supply and erect 200 prefabricated houses for the Snowy Mountains’ Authority.

Dick (Duss) Dusseldorp visits Australia to assess the market opportunities for Bredero’s, a large Dutch building company.
