In 1999, the Urban Development Institute of Australia adjudged Australia’s number one community to be Forest Lake. Since its commencement in 1990, Forest Lake has established itself as a benchmark for fully planned urban community development.
Centrally located off the Centenary Highway south west of Brisbane, Forest Lake covers an area of 1,000 hectares and is home to Brisbane’s largest recreational lake including 120 hectares of parks and waterways. Serviced by three schools, three shopping precincts, restaurants, medical facilities and $30million of recently announced new facilities continues to strengthen its claim as “Brisbane’s most livable address”.
