Ropes Crossing

Located 45 kilometres to the west of Sydney, 22 kilometres west of Parramatta and 10 kilometres east of Penrith, Ropes Crossing is one of the largest parcels of undeveloped land capable of urban development in Sydney. On completion in 2010, Ropes Crossing will comprise approximately 5,000 houses and be home for up to 12,000 people.
Ropes Crossing will be a model for sustainable community creation with a focus on environmental, ecological and social outcomes. Inspired by the natural park surrounding, Ropes Crossing will incorporate design elements that reflect a modern Australian character while providing flexibility and a choice of living options.
The Main Street Village Centre will be a vibrant place with mixed uses for residents and visitors to meet, shop and learn. | |
